surfing in India
India has 7,000 kilometers. Most of that is unexplored in terms of surf. But with the exposure to the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal and with nothing off the southern tip of India for thousands, and thousands of kilometers except Antarctica, there going to be some great spots and great waves.

I've seen surf in almost every place I've been (Kanyakumari, Pondicherry, Mahabalipuram, Vishkapatam, Kovalum, Juhu/Bombay, Alibag, etc.). The thing is that you generally have to get on it early and at low tide- ie. usually a short window. the NW can definitely get as good as the SE.
