Great location to find waves in all locations.
Wind sensitive all west facing beaches (from silverstrand to south Jetty) are best in the A.M. They tend to get blown out early...
Combo swells are great for peaky conditions at beachbreaks.
Long period WNW/ W swells are best for south facing beaches (C St. North and all point breaks to Santa Barbara)
Respect the locals, everyone knows what they are doing up here. Be patient, make friends. Don't back paddle, you WILL be remembered...Otherwise, enjoy!!! |
